The Foreclosure Advice Desk provides free legal consultations to persons representing themselves in only foreclosure cases pending in the Mortgage Foreclosure Section of the Chancery Division.  

The desk is staffed by an attorney who provides legal advice and assistance with simple court pleadings relating to foreclosure cases. The attorney does not represent clients in court and cannot offer ongoing services.

The Foreclosure Advice Desk is a cooperative effort of the Office of the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County and the Chicago Legal Clinic, Inc.
