In Court Attorney Referral ProgramThe Northwest Suburban Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Cook County Bar Association each provide two attorneys on their scheduled day to staff the criminal courtrooms in the Third Municipal District as “bar attorneys.”   The bar attorneys can assist unrepresented criminal defendants with their cases for a negotiated fee, often the amount of the bond posted by the defendant. 

Small Claims Mediation
Mediators from the Center for Conflict Resolution provide trained mediators to litigants in Small Claims, pro se court on Friday mornings in Courtroom 206. 

Orders of Protection
Advocates from the “Between Friends” social service agency assist petitioners seeking orders of protection daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and are located on the lower level of the Third Municipal District courthouse in rolling Meadows.
