Spanish and Polish interpreters are always available for court proceedings at each Domestic Violence Division site. Interpreter services are not available for filling out protective order paperwork. You may bring someone with you to assist you in filling out the paperwork. Once you have filed the paperwork and you go to court, please inform court personnel that you are in need of an interpreter. One will be made available for you at that time and at any subsequent court dates.
If you speak a language other than Spanish or Polish, including sign language, the court must order an interpreter for you at the first court date.
