Required Information
Be prepared to provide the following information when placing an order for a transcript:
- Name, address and telephone number of party placing order
- Date of hearing
- Case name
- Case number
- Branch or courtroom number
- Name of judge
Payment: A deposit may be required prior to order being processed.
For all transcript orders, the balance is due upon completion.
Only cash (must be exact change), check or money order accepted.
Credit cards are not accepted.

In March 2001, the Circuit Court of Cook County began a digital audio recording program in place of Official Court Reporters in several traffic courtrooms in the Richard J. Daley Center. The Circuit Court later expanded digital audio recording of court proceedings to courtrooms in the Cook County Juvenile Center and the Domestic Violence Courthouse.
The Circuit Court’s digital audio recording program operates under the same rules and regulations established by the Illinois Supreme Court for Official Court Reporters. The program's technology creates high quality audio recordings that are maintained in a searchable database. No audio or portion of audio may be released to an attorney or the public. Also, there is only audio, no video.
Transcripts of digitally recorded court proceedings must be ordered and transcribed through the Office of Official Court Reporters by contacting:
