Evictions, also known as forcible entry and detainer actions, are heard in Courtroom 204 every Friday at 9 a.m.

For people without lawyers, the following resources are available:

• Court forms are available from the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Room 136.
• A Pro Se Landlord Handbook is available in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Room 136.
• An Advice Desk for Tenants operates every Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon staffed by the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago with advisors available in Courtroom 204.
