GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO.: 2017-06

SUBJECT: Appointment of the Acting Public Guardian of Cook County

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
Pursuant to 755 ILCS 5/13-1.1, effective September 21, 2017, Charles P. Golbert is
hereby appointed as the Acting Public Guardian of Cook County and shall hold said office, death
or resignation not intervening, at the pleasure ofthe chief judge.
In all cases pending in the Circuit Court of Cook County in which orders were entered to
appoint Robert F. Harris, in his official capacity as the Public Guardian of Cook County, as a
representative of any party in any capacity, the newly appointed Acting Public Guardian of Cook
County, Charles P. Golbert, is hereby substituted as such representative and shall have the same
authority, rights, and responsibilities as provided in any previously entered appointment order.
